Step 1 – Intake & Setup Session

Before training begins, all athletes complete a 30–60 minute in-person session to review goals, complete intake forms, and set up the Final Surge app (including watch syncing if needed) or a written training log. I’ll also assess running form and movement patterns to prescribe individualized prehab and strength exercises based on any imbalances noted. ($59–95/session)

Step 2 – Choose the Best Coaching Option

In-Person Coaching

1 session per week for 10 consecutive weeks (45 or 60 minutes; no sessions June 21–27). Includes an individualized Final Surge training plan based on the athlete’s current fitness and future goals.

  • 45 min session: $80/week

  • 60 min session: $95/week

Recommended option, as it allows for weekly movement assessment, coaching, and communication.

Virtual Coaching

10-week individualized training plan through Final Surge + 1 weekly FaceTime check-in. Sessions include reviewing the previous week’s training and discussing the upcoming plan.

  • $45/week

Optional in-person sessions can be added as needed.

Hybrid Coaching

10-week Final Surge training plan + 1 weekly 30-minute in-person session (no sessions June 21–27). Training is individualized and adjusted as needed throughout the summer.

  • $59/week

Option to combine missed 30-minute sessions into 60-minute sessions if travel or scheduling conflicts arise.

What Is a Dynamic Training Plan?

Coaching is more than assigning workouts — it’s helping the athlete learn how to train successfully, consistently, and healthily over time. As the coach-athlete relationship develops, the plan evolves based on the athlete’s progress, schedule, recovery, stress, setbacks, and goals.

Training plans and logs are written out in advance, but they remain fully dynamic and adjustable week to week based on where the athlete is currently functioning. The goal is to help the athlete continually ask: “How can I set myself up for success this week, and what adjustments will help me stay healthy, happy, and progressing?”

What Does a Weekly In-Person Session Include?

  • Review previous week’s training log

  • Set up upcoming week’s training and pacing

  • Running form and biomechanics work

  • Injury prevention and mobility

  • Addressing muscle imbalances

  • Runner-specific strength and power development

What Does a Weekly Virtual Session Include?

The athlete receives an individualized program designed around current fitness and long-term goals. The full plan is outlined in advance, but adjusted weekly based on training data, pacing, recovery, and progress.

Some athletes may benefit from occasional additional in-person sessions depending on needs and progression.
