Run Training Sustains Me- just like water, food, air....

If someone would have told me at the age of 18 that I'd be running faster at 43 than a high school state champion in the 5k or that my marathon average pace per mile would be faster than my college 5k times, I would have laughed out loud and walked away.

But it's true.

It's true because I love my sport and all the nuance and intricacy that come with personally training and coaching an individual.

Training for a running event is so much more than a one size fits all program, it's a behavior science, a psychological science, and a physical endeavor.

I know that my training needs will never be less challenging at any given true, but should be different through the years if I want to keep improving and pushing my limits.

Run training first takes commitment- the magic is in the consistency.

Run training takes honesty- what are you willing to do, and for that matter not do to get to your goals. Commitment means doing whats right for you on each day of the plan- not haphazardly scrolling socials and copying someone else motivation or plan.

Run training takes belief. belief in your coach. Belief in the process. Belief in the magic that comes from giving the correct energy to the correct elements of a good training program.

Run training takes a willingness to be flexible and speak with your coach when something doesnt feel right for you.

Run training build mental, physical, spiritual, responsible, intelligent, focused, fun, adeventurous, friendly, beautiful humans.

Need a plan. Set up a coaching call or meet with me soom before summer begins. Whether you are in need of preparing for a kick booty cross country season or a fall race, we need to talk so I can create the plan that will push us forward through summer training.
